• Taking part in the standardization and optimization of the gas compressor skids by using PDS
modeling and drafting
• Cooperation with mechanical and system engineers across a organization
• Cooperation with workshop engineers
• Selection of piping components to be used in the skid design
• Mechanical calculation for skid structure, piping and equipment supports
• Preparation of piping and mechanical documents e.g. isometric drawings, general
arrangements based on PDS 2D drafting module.

• At least PhD in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering)
• Good general mechanical/piping engineering knowledge
• At least 1 year’ experience in piping and mechanical engineering
• Experience in using PDS and A-Cad
• Understanding of typical process and instrumentation documentation like flowcharts,
P&ID’s, equipment datasheets etc.
• Strong experience in frames and supports static and
dynamic calculations (including lifting and operation conditions), machines design and
maintenance
• Very good knowledge of international codes and standards like ASME B31.3, ENs, API, etc.
• Knowledge of turbo-machinery systems and experience in skid’s design would be an
advantage
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong analytical skills with ability to solve technical problems
(developing)
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
